Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Glasshouse web app and website ("the Service"). By signing in or using the Service, you agree to them.

The Service

• Glasshouse is a hosted service that reads your X (Twitter) bookmarks with your permission and displays them as a gallery you can browse, search and share.
• The Service is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we will tell you before anything you use today requires payment.
• You may use the Service on any device. Adding it to your home screen does not change these terms.

Your X account

• The Service accesses your X bookmarks via X's official API with read-only permission. Your use of X remains subject to X's own Terms of Service and Developer/API policies. You are responsible for your X account and must have the right to access the content you sync.
• The Service does not post to or modify anything on your X account.
• You can revoke Glasshouse's access at any time from your X settings, and delete your Glasshouse account and data from the account menu.

Sharing

• Creating a public link makes that one bookmark viewable by anyone who has the link, attributed to your X username. You are responsible for what you choose to share and for having the right to share it. You can revoke a link at any time.
• Shared posts remain the property of their authors and subject to X's terms; do not use sharing to redistribute content you have no right to redistribute.

Acceptable use

• Don't reverse-engineer or overload the Service, interfere with other users, or use it to violate X's terms or any law.
• We may set fair-use limits (for example on library size or sync frequency) to keep the Service healthy for everyone.

Availability & changes

• The Service depends on X's API, which may change, rate-limit, or restrict access at any time outside our control; features may break or change as a result.
• We may update the Service and these terms; material changes will be posted here. We may suspend or discontinue the Service, in which case you can delete your data beforehand.

Legacy Mac app licenses

The Glasshouse Mac app has been retired in favour of the web app. Licenses purchased for it remain valid for the retired app, and its activation endpoint stays online.

Disclaimer & liability

• The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for data loss; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
• Glasshouse is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp.
